Conservation of Climate Change Endangered Cultural Furniture Industry Heritage in Damietta, Egypt (CRAFT)
The project aims to document, analyses, and develop resources to conserve the endangered heritage of traditional furniture crafts in Damietta, Egypt. It involves field studies, workshops, focus groups and the creation of open access digital platforms. The project promotes participatory methodologies, network building and capacity development among heritage practitioners in Egypt.

Relevance to SDGs
- The outcomes of the project would support SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) through conservation of cultural heritage, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by promoting local traditional crafts and industries.
- The participatory and capacity building elements also contribute to SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Overall, the project assists in preserving intangible cultural heritage and promoting sustainable development in Egypt.
