(2007-2010), (IUCN-CEDARE), An agreement was signed between CEDARE and IUCN on July 15, 2007 to produce a project document for implementing system analysis tools to improve water resources management. System tools will be developed to support district managers to assess water needs and to allocate water efficiently within the district. The activities were carried out upon the contract was signed for a duration of 30 months. An amendment to this Memorandum of Understanding was signed on July 15, 2007. An Agreement was signed between CEDARE and IUCN for a project named (System Analysis Tools (DSS)) for improving River Water Management in Selected Districts in Egypt).

Type of services provided:

• To provide system analysis approaches and decision support tools to achieve more effective and better management of available water resources.
• Improving rural livelihoods and heading towards integrated water resources management.
