The Second Consultative Meeting in Preparation for The Climate Change COP28

On October 15, 2021, Dr. Khaled AbuZeid Senior Regional Water Resources Director (CEDARE) participated as a speaker in the second consultative meeting in preparation for the Climate Change COP28, under the auspices of Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment of Egypt. The meeting was organized by the Arab Network for Environment and Development “Raed”.

Dr. Khaled AbuZeid gave a special presentation on Climate Change related Water Security Challenges, Proposed Solutions, and the role of Partnerships.

The meeting discussed 3 main sectors affecting and/or affected by Climate Change including Water, Energy, and Food sectors, their security under Climate Change and the Nexus linking their planning and management.
