Solutions ahead of COP 27: Climate Justice and Sustainable Mobility in Urban Planning

(August 1^st, 2022 – March 30^th, 2023), The activity planned is to develop a support programme for influential stakeholders in the topic of Climate Justice in Urbanization and Urban Mobility and association with governance and the move towards Smart Cities, an outcome that would facilitate dissemination of relevant educative and guidance material to agents of change in Egypt (policy makers, planners, parliamentarians, journalists, NGOs, educators, etc.). All activities are aligned with the outcomes of the Bonn climate change conference held in June 2022, to which stakeholders in Egypt are exploring the constructive way forward from Glasgow to Bonn to Sharm El-Sheikh, calling upon all stakeholders to shift attention to city-level activities where 70% of emissions and highest vulnerability is observed.
