ShMILE-2 Capacity Building Programme, Alexandria, Egypt

CEDARE launched the ShMILE-2 Capacity Building Programme as part of the activities of the ShMILE-2 project,

 on 26 May 2013 in Alexandria, Egypt. The objective of the programme is to provide technical assistance to touristic accommodation establishments towards qualifying for application to the EU Ecolabel certification, through providing training to professionals in the tourism sector. The training courses are aimed at introducing the principles of environmental management, necessary for certification, based on EMAS and ISO criteria.
