SGP’s Regional Director Participates in the Blue Economy Symposium: Laying a Solid Foundation for Jordan’s Blue Economy

Dr. Hossam Allam virtually showcased the process of developing Egypt’s Blue Economy Roadmap as a joint collaboration between the Ministry of Environment and CEDARE. This was part of the panel on global and regional Blue Economy Trends at the Blue Economy Symposium in Jordan from 27 to 28 May, 2024.

The event was co-organized by UNDP Jordan, UNEP, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority ((ASEZA), and the European Commission, and was an excellent platform to share experiences and exchange best practises on blue economy between countries and international and regional counterparts.
