Harnessing Insights for Optimal Renewable Energy Planning in Desert Environments during the 3rd CIROCCO stakeholders workshop

Local stakeholders from the New and Renewable Energy Authority, Benban Solar Developers Association, General Authority of Meteorology, Desert Research Center, Ain Shams University, as well as representatives from the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), Arab Network for Environment and Development (RAED) and the British University in Egypt were there to present research findings relating to the effects of Desert Dust Storm events in the region and give feedback that can help optimize CiROCCO’s Renewable Energy System Planning.
