Supporting the Seventh Edition of the Global Environment Outlook (GEO-7)

To support the production of the GEO-7 assessment by enhancing its peer and intergovernmental review processes. This would include upgrading the GEO-READ platform with improved usability and access and additional functions well as providing technical support throughout the various cycles of review processes for the assessment in order to facilitate progress throughout its production and enhance the integrity and transparency of its review process and the quality of the assessment.

This project supports the achievement of SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), and SDG 15 (Life on Land) by improving assessment and monitoring of the environment. The improved environmental monitoring and knowledge sharing contributes to sustainable infrastructure, climate action, marine and terrestrial ecosystem conservation, and halting biodiversity loss.
