CEDARE hosted the advisory committee meeting of the “Healthy Ecosystem for Rangeland Development (HERD)” project
On 16th December 2019, CEDARE hosted the advisory committee meeting of the “Healthy Ecosystem for Rangeland Development (HERD)” project, which is implemented in Egypt and Jordan, by IUCN, CEDARE and DRC and funded by GEF.
H.E Dr. Nadia Makram Ebeid, CEDARE’s Executive Director in her opening speech emphasized the importance of the project for improving the living conditions of the local community and the contribution of the project to the SDGs.
The project team presented the strategic plan that was developed in participation with the local communities, and the advisory committee members agreed on the pilot projects to be implemented on the ground
