CEDARE and FES Launch a Series of Workshops Titled the “Advent of Micromobility”

“The Advent of Micromobility” is the core of the participatory training of trainers workshops launched by the Centre for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE) in cooperation with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) / Egypt Office, on the 19th of September, 2021.

As one of many collaborations with FES, our strategic partner in the Sustainable Mobility sector over the past five years since 2017, this year’s activity is mainly focusing on the enabling environment for walking, cycling, and micromobility in Egypt.

Key topics cover how to integrate all modes of mobility in a city, including pedestrianization, facilitating cycling, integration of fleet-sharing concepts and enhancing people-oriented and socially equitable urban planning and conservation of urban greenery. A focused educational module has been prepared as a continuation of the experience offered to selected educators and change makers of the future.
