SRI TOT Training on the Refurbishment-E-Waste Management Curriculum

The SRI Project in Egypt, under the umbrella of the Cooperation Protocol between the Electronic Research Institute (ERI), the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology (MCIT) and Centre for Environment & Development for the Arab Region & Europe (CEDARE) organized a 5-day TOT on the Refurbishment sector of the E-waste Management curriculum that was held at the ERI premises. The TOT targeted 20 Engineering instructors from the WE (mobile operator) ICT vocational Technological schools of MCIT to prepare capable technicians for ICT industry through extending the End-Of-Life (EOL) ICT equipment which will impact better management of e-waste lifecycle. The trained instructors will deliver the curriculum to the students of WE vocational technological schools all over Egypt.
