Stockholm Junior Water Prize SJWP – Egypt
SJWP Egypt is a national competition aimed at engaging Egyptian youth in water research and innovation. The competition invites students aged 15-20 to submit projects addressing water-related issues, including water management, pollution, conservation, and technological solutions. The winning project will represent Egypt at the Stockholm Junior Water Prize finals, competing with participants from around the world. The initiative is led by CEDARE in collaboration with key ministries, educational institutions, and private sector sponsors. Activities include project submission, evaluation by a national jury, capacity-building sessions, and a national award ceremony.

- Promote awareness of water sustainability challenges and solutions.
- Strengthen collaboration between academia, government, NGOs, and private sector partners in Egypt’s water sector.
Select and support the best Egyptian project to represent the country in the SJWP global finals in Stockholm, Sweden.
