(1998-2002), The Nubian Sandstone Aquifer System (NSAS) is a huge groundwater basin shared among four countries namely: Egypt, Sudan, Chad and Libya. CEDARE is the executing agency of the Nubian Sandstone Aquifer System (NSAS) Programme which is funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
