CEDARE selected as a member of the committee to update the Egyptian Code for Reuse of Treated Wastewater

Following Cedare’s recent participation at the UFM Union for the Mediterranean Ministerial Declaration on Water, Malta February 2025, Cedare, was selected as a member of the Elders Committee to update the Egyptian Water Reuse Code, and develop strategic guidelines.

Represented by Dr. Khaled AbuZeid, Regional Director, Water Resources, Cedare participated in the preparatory meeting to update the Egyptian Code for the Use of Treated Wastewater in Agriculture (Code No. 2015/501), organized by the National Center for Research on housing and construction,on February 10, 2025,

This meeting comes within the framework of Ministerial Decision No. 330 of 2023, with the aim of reviewing and strengthening laws regulating the use of treated wastewater in agriculture in a safe and sustainable manner.

بعد مشاركته الأخيرة في إعلان وزراء المياه للاتحاد من أجل المتوسط في مالطا، فى فبراير 2025، تم اختيار سيداري كعضو في لجنة الحكماء لتحديث كود إعادة استخدام المياه في مصر، ووضع إرشادات استراتيجية

ومثَّل سيداري في الاجتماع الدكتور خالد أبو زيد، المدير الإقليمي للموارد المائية، حيث شارك في الاجتماع التحضيري لتحديث الكود المصري لاستخدام مياه الصرف الصحي المعالجة في الزراعة (الكود رقم 2015/501)، والذي نظمه المركز القومي لبحوث الإسكان والبناء في 10 فبراير 2025.

يأتي هذا الاجتماع في إطار القرار الوزاري رقم 330 لسنة 2023، بهدف مراجعة وتعزيز القوانين المنظمة لاستخدام مياه الصرف الصحي المعالجة في الزراعة بشكل آمن ومستدام.
