“Our Vision, Our World, Our Future” Arab International Digital Cooperation and Development Forum (DCDF-2025)

Cedare – Centre for Environment & Development for the Arab Region & Europe is participating in the second Arab International Digital Cooperation and Development Forum (DCDF-2025), from February 23-26, in Amman, Jordan. The event is organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia – ESCWA, the جامعة الدول العربية – League of Arab States (LAS), and their partner organizations, in cooperation with Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MODEE) وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة_ الأردن.

This forum is the first of its kind in fostering digital cooperation in the Arab region and beyond. It aligns with the Global Digital Compact (GDC) and the resolutions of the Arab Telecommunications and Information Council of Ministers (ATICM).

The event will facilitate discussions on priority issues concerning digital development and cooperation across the Arab region and globally. The dialogue will address the digital future for the next decade, set standards, and build consensus on regional and thematic digital development issues, guided by major global and regional forums and declarations.

Cedare will organize a session on “Digital Transformation for Sustainability: Tackling Environmental Challenges in the Arab Region”, on February 25, 2025.

“رؤيتنا، عالمنا، مستقبلنا”

المنتدى العربي الدولي للتعاون والتنمية الرقمية (DCDF-2025)

يشارك مركز البيئة والتنمية للإقليم العربي وأوروبا (سيداري) في المنتدى العربي الدولي الثاني للتعاون الرقمي والتنمية (DCDF-2025)، الذي يُعقد في الفترة من 23 إلى 26 فبراير/شباط 2025 في عمّان، بالأردن. ينظم هذا الحدث كل من لجنة الأمم المتحدة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا (الإسكوا) و جامعة الدول العربية بالشراكة مع عدد من المنظمات المتعاونة، وبالتنسيق مع وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة_ الأردن

يعد هذا المنتدى الأول من نوعه في مجال تعزيز التعاون الرقمي على مستوى المنطقة العربية والعالم، إذ يتماشى مع الميثاق الرقمي العالمي وقرارات مجلس الوزراء العرب للاتصالات والمعلومات (ATICM). كما يوفر منصة للحوار حول أبرز القضايا ذات الأولوية في مجالات التنمية والتعاون الرقمي، ويتناول مستقبل التحول الرقمي خلال العقد القادم، من خلال تحديد المعايير وبناء توافق حول قضايا التنمية الرقمية على المستوى الإقليمى، مستندًا إلى المنتديات العالمية والإقليمية الرئيسية.

ينظم سيداري جلسة خاصة بعنوان:

“التحول الرقمي من أجل الاستدامة: مواجهة التحديات البيئية في المنطقة العربية”، وذلك يوم 25 فبراير 2025.
