CEDARE’s SGP Participation as a guest Speaker in “Egypt’s and Government Initiatives in Green Economy”

Spotlight on CEDARE’s Sustainable Growth Programme (SGP) participation as a guest speaker in the Italian Chamber of Commerce’s event “Egypt’s and Government Initiatives in Green Economy”.

Dr. Hossam Allam (SGP’s Regional Director) had an informative speech on the role of Sustainability and highlighted CEDARE’s recent progression in the energy transition and green entrepreneurship arenas in collaboration with relevant Egyptian ministries and other partner international development organizations. On the other hand, Ms. Ghada Moghny (SGP’s Senior Coordinator) provided the audience with an overview on CEDARE’s leading efforts on e-waste management over the last 10 years in an attempt to showcase the development of this industry and reflect the current status of e-waste management in egypt.

Fostering the Egypt-Italy synergy in investments and sustainable development, the conference was an excellent panorama to identify better opportunities for green businesses and leverage green economy and SDGs.
