Relevance to SDGs
The outcomes of the ENPI SEIS project contribute significantly to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specifically, it supports SDG 13 (Climate Action) by facilitating the collection and use of environmental data to inform policy-making and climate action. It also directly contributes to SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), through its collaborative approach involving multiple countries and organizations. Furthermore, by promoting open access to environmental information, it supports SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) in terms of increasing transparency and accountable governance. Lastly, by helping countries monitor and manage their environmental resources, it contributes to SDG 15 (Life on Land) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water).
