CEDARE strengthens collaborative ties with UN-Habitat
Dr. Khaled Fahmy, Executive Director of CEDARE met with UN-HABITAT’s Country Programme Manager (Egypt), Regional Office for Arab States, Mr. Ahmed Rezk on February 16, 2025 at Cedare premises in Cairo. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Hossam Allam, Director of Cedare’s Sustainable Growth Programme, and Dr. Karim Morsy, UN-Habitat’s Partnership Coordinator.
The meeting objective is in line with Cedare’s continuous efforts to build on mutual synergies and experiences between Cedare and its partners. Cedare and UN-Habitat agreed that both organizations will collaborate in regional projects, with a focus on sustainable cities, urban environment, green economy, energy and SDGs.
إدارة تعزز الروابط التعاونية مع موئل الأمم المتحدة
اجتمع الأستاذ الدكتور/ خالد فهمي، المدير التنفيذي لمركز البيئة والتنمية للإقليم العربى وأوروبا (سيدارى)، مع السيد أحمد رزق، مدير برنامج موئل الأمم المتحدة في مصر، والممثل الإقليمي لمكتب الدول العربية، وذلك في 16 فبراير 2025 بمقر سيداري في القاهرة. كما حضر الاجتماع كل من الدكتور حسام علام، مدير برنامج النمو المستدام بسيداري، والدكتور كريم مرسي، منسق الشراكات في موئل الأمم المتحدة.
يأتي هذا الاجتماع في إطار جهود سيداري المستمرة لتعزيز أوجه التعاون والاستفادة من الخبرات المشتركة مع شركائه. وقد اتفق الطرفان على التعاون في تنفيذ مشروعات إقليمية تركز على المدن المستدامة، والبيئة الحضرية، والاقتصاد الأخضر، والطاقة، وتحقيق تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
